Using the same formula for a [[Piston Cylinder|piston cylinder]], the [[Fluid Pressure|fluid pressure]] at a given depth of [[Fluid|fluid]] is given by the following equation:
$P_f=P_0+\rho gz$
Where:
- $P_f$ is the pressure of the fluid at the given depth
- $P_0$ is atmospheric pressure
- $\rho$ is the density of the fluid
- $g$ is gravitational acceleration
- $z$ is the depth at which the pressure is taken
For a series of $n$ different fluids:
$P_f = P_0 + g\sum_{i=1}^n \rho_iz_i$
